Your Help Will Be Appreciated:

On the religious goods counter in the entry area, there is a scholarship donation jar. The Women's Club sponsors the Adele Francis/Kay Hintz Scholarship for a graduating LUHS student from Lac du Flambeau, with preference given to a St. Anthony of Padua parishioner. The Women's Club's Salad Luncheon helps fund this $1,000 scholarship. However, your additional support is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.

CATHOLIC SERVICES APPEAL Thank you for filling out a Catholic Services Appeal envelope. For those who did not fill one out, please do so before you leave church today. No gift is too small, and our parish is trying to reach 100% participation. By making your gift today you can save a volunteer from having to call you saving time and expense. We have raised $3,494.00 from 23 families towards our Catholic Services Appeal goal. There are many challenges that face us today. The shortage of priests is one such challenge. The responsibility our parish has to help provide diocesan services and ministries such as support for vocations and the education of seminarians is an answer to that challenge. This year, our goal is $19,451.00. Please give generously, but no gift is too small.

HOSPITAL STAY; (Eucharist and Anointing of the Sick) If you will be in the hospital, as you are being admitted please let them know that you belong to St. Anthony’s. If your loved one needs to be anointed at the Hospital, please call Fr. Ron on his cell phone 715-904- 0501. If it is a couple days before your surgery and you need an anointing, please see Fr. Ron in the Sacristy after the mass.

 WEEKLY  THOUGHT

You cannot please both God and the world at the same time.  They are utterly opposed to each other in their thoughts, their desires, and their actions.

PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONE

As you may or may not know, the audio system in our Church is wireless.  In addition to a phone possibly interrupting the service, if left on and silenced it still may interfer with the audio wireless systems.  So please, turn off your cell phone or possibly just leave it in your car during service.  Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Religious Education Classes

Every Sunday after 9:30 a.m. Mass, we

have Religious Education Classes for

the Children.

It is important that Parents send their

children for the Faith Formation.

Lunch will be provided for the children who

attend the classes.

Books, Books, and More Books

St. Anthony Women's Club has set up a Book Corner in the church hall. There are a variety of books: fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, cook books, etc. Suggested donation is $1.00 for hardcover books and $0.50 for paperbacks. The money will be used for our Adel Francis/Kay Hintz scholarship and church projects. There is a box to pay for the books and plastic bags for your convenience. Thank you for supporting this project.

Hearing Assistance

Hearing devices that are compatible with our new sound system are in the back of the church.

Sunday Bulletin Ads

We still have room for a couple more ads. If you or someone you know would be interested in acquiring an ad in our Sunday Bulletin, please contact the office(715) 755-3148. A standard single ad for a year is $150 and a double ad is $300. Thank you.
